The Rapide S:

Aston's reiteration of the 4-door sportscar came about in 2010 with the original Rapide. Come 2013, all the lessons-learned were morphed into the much-improved Rapide S which proved to be a much more compelling, reliable and potent offering. Power was raised considerably from 470 hp to 550 in the process as well. In 2014/2015 another major facelift was introduced, turning the Rapide S into a vastly superior product. The most notable change was the 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox (replacing the outgoing 6-speed), raising the top speed, dropping the shift times and even bettering the fuel economy. During this facelift, the Rapide S also received tweaks to the Bosch ECU, suspension, chassis and braking systems. Power was raised again to 573 hp, 630 Nm of torque and the top speed was thus 322 km/h. From 2017 onwards, the Shadow Edition was available. A special, limited-run variant with all essential optional extra's pre-ticked and available in four tailored colour and trim combinations. The Shadow Edition was available in either Ultramarine Black or Solent Silver coachwork with either a Dark Knight or Sahara Tan interior.

Cars of this magnitude will not be built anymore in the future, with a howling N/A 6.0L V12 drenched to an achingly beautiful 4-door coupé. Built in relative low numbers, the later examples of the Aston Martin Rapide S are considered to be the ones to have. The example we're proud to be offering here is probably as good as it gets.

This Rapide S Shadow Edition:

This superb example was bought and supplied new to ex Aston Martin CEO Ulrich Bez on the 11th of September 2017 by Aston Martin Lagonda of Europe Nürburgring Test Centre. Specced to absolute perfection (we wouldn't expect anything less from the CEO himself) as Shadow Edition in "Signature Metallic" Ultramarine Black, Sahara Tan hide and Piano Black trim inlay. The car remained in Mr. Bez' ownership up until early 2020 when the Rapide found its way to Belgium via Aston Martin dealer Michiels of Antwerp. The service history of this Rapide S leaves nothing on the table and can be summarized as follows:
