Childhood afternoons were spent navigating pedal cars through the family dealership showroom, weaving between rows of Rover 75s and MGs, where a lifelong fascination with the motorcar was born.Growing up just a stone's throw from the legendary Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, motorsport and historic automobiles became an integral part of life. From the Spa 24 Hours and Spa Six Hours to Spa Classic and Paris' renowned Salon Rétromobile, countless weekends immersed in the world's finest racing and collector cars cultivated both knowledge and a deep appreciation for automotive history.Combining a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with an MBA, Didier brings together technical expertise, commercial insight and a lifelong enthusiasm for exceptional automobiles. Today, these foundations underpin his work in the classic car world, where he combines engineering knowledge with a discerning eye for originality, provenance and market trends.Like many enthusiasts, Didier believes every classic car professional should have one special car of their own. His is a 1981 Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce finished in Bronzo Metallizzato, a model that remains a particular favourite and one that regularly finds its way into the Garage Maastricht inventory. Literally being born and raised in the car-dealership from his parents, Erik (1970) quickly discovered he liked cars! Erik has a great passion for motorsport and loves to compete in classic-car-rallys.After having finished his BBA-studies he started working in the family-business and gained ownership in 2000. In 2018 the decision was made to end the traditional car-business and follow his heart and passion - classic cars! Garage Maestricht was born! On the location in the center of Maastricht, Erik is also occupied with Bollenpark, developing parking-solutions for the town of Maastricht.
