The Series 4 Alfa Romeo SpiderThe Series 4 marks the ultimate farewell to the 115-series, affectionately nicknamed “La Ultima” or “Bella” for its elegant styling cues. Restyled by Pininfarina in the late 1980s, it emerged as a sleek open two-seater that perfectly blends timeless Alfa style with thoughtful innovation. Distinguishing features from previous series include full-width body-colored bumpers, updated rear lights, 15-inch alloy wheels, and a Bosch Motronic fuel-injected 2.0L twin-cam engine (1.6L for select Italian models).Inside, the Spider is equally refined, featuring a driver-focused instrument cluster, GTV steering wheel, suede-and-vinyl seats, and deep-pile carpeting. With ZF power-assisted steering and meticulous attention to detail throughout, the S4 Spider is both a statement of style and a joy to drive, a fitting swan song for a true Italian icon.Just over 18.000 Series 4 examples with the 2.0L engine were produced between 1990 and 1993. A relatively high attrition due to rust means that today, original, unmolested, low-mileage examples are increasingly rare. However, finding a unicorn like the car we’re presenting here is an opportunity that is unlikely to repreat itself, standing above and beyond all the rest.Chassis no. 7006573:This Series 4 Spider is from the final year of production and is probably one of the finest examples available today. An original Dutch-delivered car, it is finished in the ultimate colour combination of Verde Inglese (306) over a Beige interior.First registered on 7 May 1993, it has covered a warranted 30.900 km since new, making it probably one of the lowest-mileage Series 4 Spiders in existence. The original Dutch registration plate GL-ND-09 remains with the car today, as it has always stayed in Dutch ownership. We sourced it directly from a fine Dutch Alfa collection, where it had been carefully cherished, looked after and occasionally used since 2017.The overall condition is as close to brand-new as it can be. Paintwork is consistent and beautiful, the interior shows minimal signs of use, and all electrics and accessories function perfectly. The original soft top presents virtually like new, suede seat inserts remain remarkably fresh (a notoriously delicate material that wears quickly), while the full suede door cards, a rare feature as they are usually vinyl, further set this car apart from other Series 4 examples.Mechanically, the Spider is equally sorted. On acquisition in March 2026, we drove it straight home on a 200 km drive without a single issue. The car is completely original, with only a period Nova sports steering wheel being added; the original black Alfa Romeo wheel is included. The history is complete and continuous, documented in a dedicated file with everything: original registration papers, sales invoices, service records, MOT (APK) reports, etc. A separate folder contains historical valuations, including a September 2021 valuation of €32,500 at 29,746 km. The most recent service was in summer 2025, including a fresh MOT, and the car now wears a set of Pirelli Cinturato tires with plenty of life remaining. All original accessories are present: two sets of keys, Alfa Romeo booklets, jack, toolkit, full-size spare wheel, tonneau cover, history file, and valuation reports. To top it all off, a matching hardtop is included as well. It is worth noting that this Spider was not originally supplied with a hardtop from factory. However, when the previous enthusiastic owner came across an original Series 4 Verde Inglese hardtop, he could not resist purchasing it to complete the car. While the hardtop presents well, it does not quite match the concours-level condition of the car itself and shows some light signs of use. Nevertheless, we are pleased to include it in the sale as it completes the package. The Spider is completely on the button and ready for spirited use on the forthcoming season, MOT is stil valid until 06/2027 and we can provide her with the correct export documents for international clients. We also provide a shipping service to your doorstep, just reach out for a quote!Bite-size:This is a rare opportunity, that is unlikely to present itself again, to acquire a Series 4 Spider that ticks ALL boxes; exceptional low mileage, ultimate specification, and superb condition throughout. Find us a better one, we dare you!
